Mr. Richard Bowman

Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon

Mr. Richard Bowman is an experienced medico-legal expert and a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London and an Honorary Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital London. He is also Senior Lecturer, London School Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and Honorary Senior Lecturer Institute of Child Health, University College London.

Mr. Bowman trained at The University of Cambridge. He is a member of the Paediatric sub-committee of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists of which he is a Fellow, and an examiner for the International Council of Ophthalmology. He sees paediatric patients and adults with strabismus or neuro-ophthalmology disease. His medico-legal practice encompasses personal injury, clinical negligence and non-accidental injury.
