Ms Veeramani is a Bond Solon trained Expert Witness and Consultant Ophthalmologist at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, specialising in Medical Retina, Uveitis and Cataract surgery as well as General and Emergency Ophthalmology. She graduated from Imperial College London and trained as an Ophthalmologist in the Northeast of England and London, completing fellowships at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

Ms Veeramani has published and presented widely. She holds a Masters in Medical Education and supervises undergraduates and junior trainees in Ophthalmology. She also has an interest in optimising standards of care and patient safety and has authored the Royal College of Ophthalmologists guidance on Cataract surgery in patients living with Dementia. She was a 2023 NHS Clinical Entrepreneur.
